Despite having what I believe is the best 5+years of my career in terms of overall accuracy regarding financial markets and matters of finance in general, I find a good part of my daily business life, encumbrance by just one stock (which is a clear anchor of my own doing and my Albatross, Arizona Metals).
Despite efforts and support from Michael Gentile in the metals and mining industry, I have experienced substantial financial losses affecting myself, clients, friends, and followers in this one stock.
Yesterday, while flying home from my daughter’s wedding in Ireland, the stock would hit a new low both in price and disgust by many (none more so than yours truly).
Michael Gentile shared his view on this via this video:
For me, I have already lost millions in 2025 alone in just this one stock (below are actual buy and sells):
My remaining holdings of Arizona Metals:
I can give a long, detailed analysis but quite frankly, I doubt I could truly believe it myself, let alone expect others to do so as well.
Because I have great disdain on everything about the company outside the projects themselves, I am no longer a good source of what you should do or not do going forward (Michael is. You can follow him on Linkedin).
I can say despite everything, the share price has been driven so low that if you already own it, you either find additional speculative capital and buy more here, or become a strong holder and hope the worst is now behind them.
For me, I wish I never heard those two words (Arizona Metals). When compared to other company’s projects and especially the people running them, I’m leaning to taking the last big loss on paper and putting it in one or more of my other holdings (most of which are doing extremely well).
Like Michael, I’m sorry this has occurred, but I can’t, and won’t, allow one misstep dominate over all the other good I have done for so many years (for so many people) and hope to still do. Our client retention rate for 25 years has average 94%. I am most grateful for the trust they have placed in me and am being extremely candid here as usual
As noted, I will do my best to update any changes in my personal holdings via this blog page.
