A few years ago, I came across Father Chapin and his “Daily Living Ministry”.
I began watching him and found him to be so much like my dearest friend, who was a full-time Catholic Lay Evangelist, Bill Wegner. I truly believe the only real difference between them was one wore a collar.
Bill would died suddenly in March, 2022. I would be so devastated from it (but not realize how much so at the time) , that by the Fall, I would suffer the worst bout of insomnia, followed by deep depression and a lost will to live. I would learn later in therapy, how much of it was from Bill passing and what Bill was to my “daily living”.
Thankfully, I would become a supporter of Father Chapin and communicate regularly with him. Fr. Chapin would become quite ill with throat cancer. Thanks Be To God, he has survived a harsh battle and is back sharing the Good Word (just like my dear friend Bill did). If you knew Bill and saw Fr Chapin share, you would most certainly agree how similar they were.
Fr. Chapin’s latest video is perhaps one of the most important messages we all need to hear and grasp. I greatly urge you to find time and listen.
Mary and I are hoping to visit him in West Virginia before too long (please God).
