Having lived “Irish-like” for the last 45 years, Columbus Day is my chance to “openly’ celebrate my Italian Heritage (my Grandmother was born and raised in Canicatti, Sicily).
My father and his family spoke Italian and we were rich in Italian tradition (Every Sunday going to “Grandma’s” for Dinner).
