On July 11th, I hope to accomplish several meaningful goals at once.
First and foremost, I am striving to live by a deeply sacred scripture:
Mary and I believe assisting Freehold Area Open Door is what Jesus called for in Matthew 25
Secondly, I hope to continue expanding the work Mary and I do in our community for the benefit of others.
One area we hope to become much more involved in is “Special Needs”. Special needs is an umbrella term for any physical, intellectual, emotional, or learning difference that requires specialized medical, educational, or social accommodations. We’ve donated to Special Olympics of NJ, and are now looking to help D4ID.
On August 29th, we will be hosting a “Red Sox vs. Yankees Watch Party”, at Vesuvio’s in Millstone Township, to benefit Special Olympics of NJ. Former MLB player Garrett Cooper (played for Red Sox, Yankees, Marlins and Padres)will be greeting patrons, signing autographs and taking photos, all at no charge.
Thirdly, I will reunite with several former professional athletes, who played key roles in a business I owned for more than 20 years—one that brought great personal joy to me and many others.
