Sadly, CNBC, once a worthwhile financial network, has become headquarters for Wall Street’s “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” crowd—people who, if thrown from the top of the Empire State Building, would all say on the way down, “So far, so good!”

For far too long, it has been “TOUT-TV.” If you are not smart enough to watch the only financial network worth hearing—Bloomberg TV—then tune in to TOUT-TV only at 5 p.m., and only when Dan Nathan and Guy Adami are on. But please turn it off before 6 p.m., before one of its star money-losing pickers appears.

Yesterday, Dan led a discussion everyone should hear, and he was early on this issue. The guest they featured, along with Dan and Guy’s comments, delivered a clear warning everyone should take seriously.

Now, let me get back to watching the best financial journalist on TV, Lisa Abramowicz, and the best segment on any financial network, Bloomberg Surveillance. If you want to see someone who cannot even carry Lisa’s bags, flip to TOUT-TV and watch the clown of all clowns, Joe Kernen.
