I was hardly alone in believing Biden—and whoever was truly in control late in his administration—was the worst ever. Although I am not part of MAGA, despite being married to someone who is, I genuinely hoped Trump might turn things around or at least keep bad situations from getting worse. He did accomplish a few things, including halting the immigration invasion for now, but he may ultimately rival or even surpass Biden. I don’t have TDS; I still believe I have a realistic mindset; thanks be to God. And the day after Election Day, we may find ourselves worse off than before.

When I started as a stockbroker in March 1984, my sales manager told me that success required avoiding three subjects:

1 – Politics
2 – Religion
3 – Other men’s wives

I broke the first two rules long ago, even though most people in financial services avoid saying what they truly believe. Instead, they say what they think others want to hear—and it sells.

I know some readers will dislike this commentary, but I have held nothing back. What you see is what you get.

This will further inflame those who hate Trump, while his most hardened supporters will do everything possible to avoid facing it. In my view—and I suspect, in the view of many former supporters who will no longer stand with him by Election Day—there is little doubt that Trump, his family, and his friends used their positions to profit enormously, likely by billions of dollars. Like it or not, President Truman was right, and Trump was badly wrong in my book.

That, along with many other factors—especially his reversal on the Epstein files, his poor handling of the Middle East crisis, and his decision to bring a “big stick” to a trade war instead of offering an olive branch—has only made things worse. Most trade deals fell far short of his repeated promises, tariffs were reversed, and worst of all, he alienated allies—justified or not—leaving America to stand alone when they should have stood beside us.

Having already crossed the political line, I will now address an even more controversial subject in America today: what I view as the Islamic invasion.

As serious as the other crises I discuss below may be, I believe this issue is a matter of life and death for non-Muslims. We do not have to guess where this can lead; countries such as the UK, Ireland, France, and others looked very different just ten or twenty years ago. In my view, what happened there is now unfolding here—and accelerating daily.

Consider, for example, a radical Muslim becoming mayor of what was once the greatest city in the world, with early actions I find deeply alarming. Or consider Florida prosecuting a man for preaching Christianity to a Muslim group while large crowds can block traffic, pray publicly, or call for harm against non-Muslims.

Make no mistake: of all my concerns, this is the one I find most frightening. I am also aware that a Muslim senator in Virginia has already proposed making speech like this a crime.

If these two issues were not troubling enough, combining them with the following gives me serious reason to reflect on this biblical passage:

It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark. Time is running out to build your own Portfolio Ark.

Peace Be With You – Peter Grandich
